The problem it solves
Small things were costing clinics real time: a form with markup couldn't be reassigned to another staff member, so it got voided and re-sent; patients saw "Combined Envelope" on their checklist and didn't know what it was; a mistyped phone number meant a ticket to support; and one stray click voided a form with no confirmation.
What's included
- Reassign marked-up forms. Forms with markup can be moved to another staff signer instead of voided.
- Meaningful envelope names. Combined envelopes show patients a description your clinic writes, not a DocuSign term.
- Update a phone number yourself. Changing a patient's number updates the pending form and clears SMS delivery failures.
- Confirm before voiding. Void asks you to confirm first.
- Certificates of completion are optional. Choose whether completion certificates are included with forms returned to your EMR.
- Clearer form-library warnings. The alert shown after editing a form in DocuSign now says what actually happened.
