Meditex: consents tracked in the EMR from assignment to completion
The problem it solves
Every completed form came back to the primary patient's Meditex profile, including the partner's, so staff moved documents between charts by hand. And Meditex users had no record that a consent had been assigned until the signed PDF arrived.
What's included
- Partner forms go to the partner. Completed forms return to the correct Meditex profile for each signer.
- Outstanding consents in Meditex. When an envelope is created, Meditex records an outstanding consent that is marked complete when the signed form returns, so staff can work from the EMR.
