Verify a patient's identity with a live selfie before they sign
The problem it solves
Clinics liked ID verification for consents but worried about the obvious gap: a partner with access to the other partner's email and a photo of their license could pass it. They wanted a second factor, and SMS codes couldn't be combined with ID verification.
What's included
- Liveness detection. During identity verification the signer takes a live selfie that is matched against the government ID, so a photo of a photo doesn't pass.
- Same signing flow. Liveness is part of the existing ID verification step; nothing changes for staff assigning the form.
