Give patients to-dos that happen outside EngagedMD, and track them
The problem it solves
Much of what a patient has to do happens away from the clinic and away from any app: a urology consult, bloodwork at Quest, a medication to start, financing to review. Those steps are just as easy to miss as a form, but there was no way to assign them, remind patients about them, or see who had finished. Staff kept track in spreadsheets and phone calls.
What's included
- A new task type: Actions. Build a library of templated actions, assign them like any other task, and see completion on the patient checklist and your dashboard.
- Instructions inside the action. Rich text, links to outside sites, and up to ten attachments, so the patient has the two-page prep sheet in the same place as the task.
- Customize on the fly. Edit a template for one patient while assigning it, or create a one-off action from scratch.
- Actions can gate other tasks. In a bundle, a form can wait until the action before it is done, so the genetic screening consent isn't signed before the counseling session.
- Partners stay in sync. The primary patient can mark an action complete on a partner's behalf, and you choose which participants must finish before the task counts as done.
