Education for both patients and providers is crucial in closing the equity gap, involving comprehensive information on fertility issues, treatment options, and cultural competence training for healthcare providers. A collective effort from the medical community and society is necessary to create equitable care, improve patient-provider relationships, and ensure all individuals have access to high-quality fertility services.

Patients who are well-informed are better equipped to make decisions, adhere to treatment plans, and recognize potential complications early on.
